Our courses are aimed on all people interested in fine art work, no matter whether they are beginners or advanced, young or old. Our lecturers try to approach each of the students individuallyand help them realize their unique talents and qualities, enabling them to pursue the art discipline professionally. Aside from traditional semester classes AvvY also offers weekend and summer courses, suitable both for Czechs and foreigners. All our courses can be taught in Czech, English and German.

Our courses can be split into two basic approaches:

Standard classes focus on basic fine art themes and techniques, evolving creativity and helping the students to successfully pass the talent examinations at colleges and art schools.

Open art workshops encompass various unconventional methods that are employed in today’s contemporary art, taking the form of courses, workshops and lectures given by AvvY teachers and other Czech and foreign artists.

The founder and the lector of AvvY is the academic sculptor Jiri Janda (see more www.avvyatelier.cz/jjanda)
